Q - Where do I get my Consumer Key and Consumer Secret from?

A - Go to Setup in the top right corner and click on it. In the Quick Find bar type 'App Manager' and click on the App Manager link. From the new screen click the New Connected App button on the right hand side. Type in the name for the Connected App Name, click tab for it to automatically generate the API Name. Tick the Enable OAuth Settings. Insert the Callback URL (which is found on the WP admin page under Base / Authorisation). Under the Selected OAuth Scopes. Click and select Access and manage your data (api), Full access (full) and Perform requests on your behalf at any time (refresh_token, offline_access). Click Save. The new app will be listed in the app manager, find it and then click the dropdown menu and click View. Under the API (Enable OAuth Settings) you will find both the Consumer Key and the Consumer Secret.

 

Q - How to reset password for an account with two usernames and one email address?

A - If you have allowed 'duplicate emails' and you wish to reset your password you must enter in your username.

 

Q - How often does Syncer sync to Salesforce?

A - Webforce Connect will sync to WordPress on a schedule that you specify in Syncer. The available options are 10 minutes, every 30 minutes or every hour.

 

Q - Why can't I edit the user login name?

A - In WordPress settings the User login name is by default not editable and you will notice that section is 'greyed' out.

 

Q - How many sync logs are saved in Salesforce?

A - There is a batch job that runs once per day (overnight) that removes all but the most recent 2000 logs are saved in Salesforce in order to save storage space in Salesforce.
